Well, that sucker escalated quickly. We get a slew of announcements for backwards compatibility today. Three out of six of these (Borderlands 2, AC: Rogue and Gyromancer) I was fully expecting at some point, but the other three were clearly out of left field. It’s always interesting to see what they are working on. To be a fly on the wall of the BC department. Borderlands 2 and AC: Rogue are available on disc and will naturally be cheaper than the digital counterparts. Well, Borderlands 2 will be free next month (GWG announcement that was yesterday) but I’m saying normally. I actually had two physical copies of Borderlands 2 (one normal, one GOTY) before I sold off those to get the Handsome Collection. Kinda wishing I had kept one now though. But I guess I will wait until March like the rest of you folks to get it digitally. Anyway, enjoy, enjoy, enjoy. There is lots here to appreciate.
- Borderlands 2 $19.99 (cheaper on disc, and Free in March – Games with Gold)
- DLC w/Achievements: Season Pass (includes all 4 campaign add ons & level cap increase) $29.99 (a lot cheaper just to buy the GOTY disc instead)
- Assassin’s Creed: Rogue $29.99 (cheaper on disc)
- Gyromancer $14.99 (wait for a sale)
- DLC w/Achievements: Map Pack $2.99
- King of Fighters 2002: Unlimited Match $9.99
- Moon Diver $14.99
