Xbox One Backwards Compatibility Coming to All Consoles on November 12th!

Per a Major Nelson tweet, we are slated to get Xbox One backwards compatibility for ALL users on November 12th, about two and a half weeks from now.  Exciting stuff on top of Criterion Games confirming that Burnout Paradise is a Xbox One backwards compatible title.  There were also some rumors that November’s Games with Gold for the Xbox 360 would be Dirt 3 and Dungeon Siege 3 which per an earlier announcement a couple of months ago would mean those titles too are also Backwards Compatible.  By Friday, I will probably take a long last look at the spreadsheet where I predict what goes to BC and what doesn’t and make my final revisions.  From there it will just be the task of recording which games make it and which don’t.  Stay tuned, it’s about to get very exciting.

10/29/15 Edit – Dirt 3 and Dungeon Siege 3 are now confirmed to be backwards compatible as part of the ongoing Games with Gold November announcement.  I’ll be grabbing DS3 for sure, but Rally racing (Dirt 3) really isn’t my thing.  Good news though, for certain.
